Energy – auctions
On 30 November 2016 the Head of the Energy Regulatory Office announced the first RES electricity sell auctions. Four types of dedicated auctions were planned for 30th December 2016:
- existing agricultural biogas plants with maximum installed electric capacity of 1 MW and maximum amount of electricity of 2,113,887 MWh which can be sold during that auction;
- existing agricultural biogas plants with installed electric capacity of over 1 MW and maximum amount of electricity of 2,309,382 MWh which can be sold during that auction
- new installations, known as other with maximum installed electric capacity of 1 MW (particularly: photovoltaics, wind energy, some hydroelectricity plants) and maximum amount of electricity of 1,575,000 MWh which can be sold during that auction;
- existinginstallations with maximum installed electric capacity of 1 MW meeting the criteria of using the installed electric capacity – over 3504 MWh/MW/year and with maximum emission capacity of 100 kg/MWh (particularly some hydroelectricity plants) and maximum amount of electricity of 1,306,870 MWh which can be sold during that auction.
