On 12th October 2015 in Warsaw, the fourth edition of international congress “Chemical Industry Summit & Awards Gala” took place. Polowiec i Wspólnicy sp. j. Law Office, represented by legal counsels Adam Polowiec and Marcin Rusinek took part in this event which is recognized as one of the most important summits of the chemical sector.
The congress consisted of individual speeches and panel debates run by experts who discussed critical challenges faced by Polish chemical industry. The focus was on the global factors, in particular dynamic development of Asian markets, customs legislation and environmental regulations applicable in the USA and the consequences of Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the European Union and the USA. The significance of raising capital and the need for innovation were emphasised as the key factor for keeping the competitive advantage of Polish industry.
Gala ended with the ceremony of “Polish Chemistry Diamonds” – the awards granted in eleven categories to the representatives of Polish chemical industry.
