A seminar on the new act on energy efficiency organized by the Industrial Energy and Energy Recipients Chamber in cooperation with the Electricity and Gas Recipients Forum was held in Warsaw on 14 June 2016. Our Law Office was represented by Natalia Jurzyk, legal trainee. The meeting was attended amongst others the representatives of the Ministry of Energy and the Polish Energy Regulatory Office. The participants talked about the new support schemes for improving the energy efficiency. Amongst the various issues discussed during the meeting the most interest was generated by the rules of obtaining and redemption of the energy efficiency certificates, trading in property rights under such certificates, and the rules of conducting energy audit of the enterprise and the energy efficiency audit.
