Polish Chemical Industry 2016

On 15-16 June 2016 “Polish Chemical Industry” 2016 Conference organized by the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry was held in Krakow under the auspices of i.al. the National Chamber of Commerce, the Ministry of Energy and the National Research and Development Center. The main issues covered during the Conference were related to the climate and energy policy in the context of both Polish and global chemical industry, chemical industry related challenges and the innovation in this sector. The attention was drawn to the need of relevant investment planning (in particular one being innovative at the same time) in terms of financing, compliance rules and intellectual property rights protection. The industry support function, particularly in the area of purchasing and staff development was also discussed. There were a lot of presentations and discussion panels attended not only by the representatives of the largest Polish enterprises operating in the chemical industry and also representatives of sport and science. The representatives of politics and lawyers joined the event either. Our Law Office was represented by legal counsels, Marcin Jamrozik and Anna Leszczyńska.
